Jeremy and I went over to Fort Monroe on Sunday- to another FREE and fantastic museum. For any of you in the area, who like history, definitely check this one out! We went to the Casemate Museum. The Casemate Museum on Fort Monroe was opened in 1951 to show the cell that Jefferson Davis (who happens to be a relative of mine) was kept in, during the civil war.
Even though he was a prisoner, he had a park named after him

It was a fun day :) You should try and go visit the museum if you have the chance, not only is it rich in history, but the whole Fort is beautiful. Valentines Day stories tomorrow!
